Jesus H. Christ. Now they want to start monitoring blogs. Why don’t they just assign one gov’t agent per US citizen and have them handcuffed to each us 24/7. seems it’d be a lot easier than sneaking around monitoring our phones, and emails and blogs and sifting through our sewers to see if we ate something that a terrorist might eat. Think about it, it’d be great, you’d never have to worry about getting robbed, because everyone would have their own agent right there to stop the crook. We’d never have to hear a swear word, because the agent would just shove a bar of soap in our mouths when we dropped the “F-bomb”. The president wouldnt’ have to worry about a thing now, he can just send out a memo to all the agents, and they would control their assigned citizen, as per the president’s command. THE PERFECT SOCIETY!
I’m moving to Tazmania.

Why is this news? Who doesn’t read blogs? Chances are these officials are just as addicted to reading blogs at work as anyone else is. so they get paid for it. So what? Blogs are public. Admit it — you’d be honored to have some public official leave you a comment saying, “I’m watching you!”.
